S.O.F.A Film Festival showcases the finest local and international independent films relating to wildlife, animal welfare, conservation and the environment. Our films build the bridge between the public and those with boots on the ground raising awareness and fighting for the survival of the animal kingdom and the planet we inhabit.

S.O.F.A Tails doesn’t simply screen pet and rescue videos; we screen films that have been made with an intention, concept or story to convey the connection between the animals and their humans and how they have fit into our world.

Apart from our watch anytime channel we host special monthly screenings, used to raise funds for theme related organisations or to contribute to our new film-makers sponsorship program that we hope to launch by the end of 2024 (this will depend on if we have enough funds in place).

To have access to our festival our audience subscribe to our screening channel. At the end of each festival you then can vote for your favourite film in various categories, the winner then receives an official certificate.

Currently the festival is online although we are looking to purchase our own festival hall in the near future. At present our headquarters are on the beautiful, picturesque island, the Republic of Cyprus.
