We offer various incentives for film-makers who screen with us:

• If you have a new film to screen and would like to submit it you get first priority and a submission discount. For our registered film-makers (those who have screened with us in the past) the submission fees are only €4 – just email us for the discount code

• You will be able to receive discounted prices to all our special screenings and festivals – just send us an email and we’ll send you the codes

• We have a new blog on our website that we would love to fill with guest articles by you on why you got into film-making, details (maybe some behind the scenes footage) of your films, any conservation/rescue work you do and the organisations you support, details of upcoming projects etc. Just send us the text/photos and/or videos via WeTransfer (our email is: sofafilmfestival@gmail.com) and we will add them (we will edit for any crucial errors so don’t worry if English is not your first language) – you can invite others whom you work with or support to also submit pieces

• We are also starting a Facebook private forum for film-makers and their colleagues who screen with us as a way to bring you all together. Although nothing is in the group yet it will be a place for you to ask questions of other film-makers, give advice, maybe connect to work together and share details of projects you feel would be beneficial to the group.
