WHY APRIL 13TH?

​

Because April 13th is the start of the Songkran traditional Thai New Year festival. It is a celebration that embraces goodwill, love, compassion and thankfulness, something that BuaNoi has been deprived of for the last 34 years. The word Songkran derives from Sanskrit meaning to move or step forward which is something we now need to do for BuaNoi and the other enslaved animals serving alongside her to secure their freedom and shut down Pata Zoo.
