HERMIA*

HERMIA, was found in a Larnaca, Republic of Cyprus garbage dumpster on 2 July 2015. Her hind legs had been cut off. Authorities called to the scene put her into a municipal pound, where she would have waited out the statutory 15 days before being put to sleep. Her plight was brought to the attention of Moonacre Sanctuary and Hermia was brought out of the dog pound into foster care on their farm.

Sadly she passed away in 2022.
