RAMBO

Meet Rambo. Guardian and comfort to a base of Ukrainian soldiers fighting in the war against Russia. Rambo was recently in the media as a Hero representing other animals caught up in conflict and offering comfort to troops.

When the soldiers first came across him he was so small he could fit in the palm of their hand. Amid the tragedies happening during this conflict, you can still witness human kindness. In return, Rambo repaid their kindness by alerting them when anyone approached and being a stable ‘normality’ in amongst the chaos of war.

Although we have no way to contact the troops that care for him or even know that he is safe, we have decided to induct Rambo as a symbol of all the animals caught up in the 2022 conflict.
